City Center in DC

825 10th Street NW, Washington DC.

Have you ever been in Los Angeles, specifically in Beverly Hills?? Have you ever walked through Rodeo Drive? Yes! That street that we have seen in every Hollywood movie, where you could enjoy yourself just by window shopping.

Well if you haven’t, you do not need to fly to the West Coast anymore. Here in DC we have a small representation of it. City Center on 10th street designed by Shalom Baranes and Sir Norman Foster is DC's response to Rodeo Drive. It’s an office/residential complex that opened in 2014, where you will find the most exclusive retail stores and restaurants topped by high end offices spaces and apartments.

It is located on the heart of Washington DC.  Nevertheless, it will provide you of a quiet space to escape the stress of a noisy city. A place where you can relax having a coffee, having a fine meal or doing some shopping.

Its high tech, high end but minimalistic design done by Sir Norman Foster, one of the world most renowned architects gives a modern twist to the classical architecture that you usually find in DC. Which you could say is a trend around the city.

The public spaces are very well designed for the enjoyment of all visitors.

  1. The first time I visited City Center, I couldn't believe I was in D.C.! I felt like a tourist visiting a new city for the first time. The place feels rather chic and urbane, like Beverly Hills indeed!

  2. It sure beats the over-sized parking lot that used to occupy the space.
